Amongst the trees something stirred…

endless laughter, screams of delight, secret whispers, it was a family at play.

Imagination in play

Imagine when you were young, the places you explored, the natural fun you would have through outdoor play, the sense of escape into world’s of your own, friends made by being together through adventure.

This is the spirit that Huubie captures…freedom to empower everyone to explore and let imagination flow through unleashing active play.

We understand the power of active play, whether it’s getting our kids away from their screens or even mirroring this for an adult audience… bonding, building teams, kid or adult, it’s about letting off steam and having fun!

Huubie have taken treehouses to another level, play places into unique dimensions and outdoor adventures to magical places.

Every design and build is bespoke to your dreams and needs, we aim to bring passion, imagination, joy and craftsmanship to every project.

The vision of our founder

Paul Prentice

Driven by a dream to get everyone more active and engaged in the outdoors, our founder, Paul Prentice set about creating a unique experience in imagination and magical play for families, schools and communities.

Paul’s vision is to change attitudes about active play and it’s proven values, creating inclusivity so that everyone can benefit, mentally and physically.

“The look of pure joy on faces when they are carried away in fun activities is something that ignites my passion, add to this well-being for our loved ones and the spirit of how communities and even colleagues can come together in a collective and powerful way is the vision we at Huubie have realised.

Imagination, escape, play and exhilaration through pure, natural fun are the things that we strive to build through everything that we do”.

Read about our process

Paul came round a few months ago to discuss our site. We have a very sloped garden which we rarely ever used. Paul explained to us what is possible to do with the site. We decided on a fully insulated treehouse that is built around a beautiful oak tree. The craftsmanship and the amazing finish of our treehouse really has a wow factor. Paul managed to combine a space for our teenager to escape, a play zone for our 6 year old and an adult space for us all to enjoy.

Paul and his talented team have recently crafted and built a platform based treehouse for our four children aged between 9 months and 11 years old. Having asked us to specify our wishlist of features (by ‘us’ I mean the children mainly) The finished construction contained a trap door, swings, monkey bars, slide, interior blackboard, water balloon catapult, climbing ladders on the roof…, all within a budget that we agreed from the outset.

It is wonderful when you meet people who have a real passion for their work and Paul certainly has that. They have designed a wonderful tree house with joining platform that looks fabulous but has will be great for our toddler’s development for years to come.

I can’t rate Huubie Build highly enough – from design to installation to follow up, 18 months after installation, our kids and all their friends still absolutely love the play frame.

Paul and his excellent team made an absolute dream playhouse and climbing frame! Right from the initial visit to discuss what we might want Paul listened intently, specifically requested the children’s input and then drew a design for us to peruse. All the while Paul made helpful and considered suggestions that have all resulted in a simply incredible area for the children to imagine, explore and challenge themselves. Every aspect of the build is of the highest quality and Paul’s expertise, professionalism and courtesy have meant him, and his team, being around an absolute pleasure. I absolutely would not hesitate to recommend Huubiebuild for anyone looking to create a truly special play area of the highest and safest build quality!
